Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28, 1977, is an American actor best famous for her performance in 24 as well as the voice work that she performed for Tess in the game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated in the year 1995 from Crossroads College Preparatory School. In her youth, she was a competitive Irish dancer and part of the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she received in 1999. Wersching began her acting career by appearing as an actress on Star Trek: Enterprise. She continued to appear in guest roles on shows such as Charmed as well as Killer Instinct, Charmed and Supernatural. From March 2007 through November 2007, she had playing the role of Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap drama General Hospital. Additionally, she been in theaters like Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. In 2014, she was an episode regular on the debut season of the Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching played the National League's catcher in 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed Wersching was the voice actor as well as the mo-cap actor Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Geoff Keighley teased her character via Twitter before she was announced in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7th the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching was to be cast in the part of the Borg Queen on Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
