Abbie Cornish is an Australian actress from Australia. At 13 she began modeling and at 15 she got her first acting job. Cornish was able to appear in several TV shows and films. Cornish is well-known for her performances in historical films 'Elizabeth: The Golden Age', the courtier Bess Tharockmorton, and the heroin addict in Candy. She also played the role of Lindy in the sci-fi thriller 'Limitless' and Fanny Brawne as Fanny Brawne's character in the biopic "Bright Star. Her TV roles include 'Outriders" and Marking Time'. Cornish is an aspiring rapper and performer, has been performing under the stage name MC Dusk since 2000. She was born in New South Wales, and was raised with three siblings and one brother. Her parents divorced when she turned 16. Abbie was able to overcome the trauma of her parents' divorce by focusing on her career. The Australian beauty enjoys playing the piano and guitar but she would rather be acting over everything else. Cornish is vegan and is a proponent of animal rights. She occasionally contributes to organizations that promote animal rights. Abbie Cornish was birthed in Lochinvar (New South Wales), Australia on 7 August 1982. She is the second daughter of Barry Cornish and Shelley Cornish. Isabelle Corish, her older sister is also an actor. When it comes to the actress' love life she was once engaged to actor Ryan Phillippe who she dated from 2006 until the year 2010.
